Direct Transactions

For Direct Transactions, Le Pit Club Marketplace does not process payment for the item.

Sellers are responsible for collecting payment directly from the buyer using a payment method agreed upon by both parties.

Ownership transfer, title documentation, bills of sale, registration paperwork, shipping arrangements, and delivery coordination are handled directly between the buyer and seller.

Marketplace Checkout Transactions

For eligible Marketplace Checkout Transactions, payment for the item is processed through Le Pit Club Marketplace.

The seller must confirm an order within 1 business day.

After confirmation, the seller must ship the order within 5 business days.

An order is considered shipped once it has been transferred to the shipping carrier.

The seller is responsible for properly preparing and packaging the item for shipment.

Failure to confirm or ship an order within the required period may result in cancellation of the order and a refund to the buyer.

Payments & Seller Proceeds

Not all amounts collected from the buyer are transferred to the seller.

The amount transferred to the seller may include:

• the item price;
• taxes collected on the item;
• taxes collected on the Platform Charge; and
• an amount intended to cover the Stripe processing fee.

Shipping charges are not transferred to the seller. They are collected by Le Pit Club Marketplace and used to pay for the applicable shipping services.

The amount transferred to the seller is not necessarily the seller's final earnings. Stripe processing fees, refunds, taxes, and other applicable adjustments may affect the final amount.

Stripe Processing Fees

Transactions processed through Stripe are subject to Stripe processing fees. The current fee is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, where applicable. Stripe may change its fees from time to time.

The Stripe processing fee is charged to and deducted from the seller's connected Stripe account.

The amount transferred to the seller includes an amount intended to cover the Stripe processing fee. Stripe then deducts the actual processing fee from the seller's account.

Stripe does not return its processing fee when a transaction is refunded, regardless of the reason for the refund.

If an order is refunded, the Stripe processing fee already charged remains the seller's responsibility and is not restored to the seller's balance. This fee does not reduce the amount that must be refunded to the buyer.

Payouts

Le Pit Club Marketplace releases the seller's funds for payout after delivery has been confirmed.

Delivery confirmation is based on tracking information provided by the shipping carrier.

After Le Pit Club Marketplace releases the funds, the actual payout timing is determined by Stripe. Stripe may delay or change payout timing based on its payout schedule, account verification, account status, risk review, reserves, banking processing times, or other Stripe requirements.

As a result, release of the funds by Le Pit Club Marketplace does not guarantee that they will be immediately available in the seller's bank account.

Sellers can review their payment and payout status in their Stripe account or contact Stripe Support for questions related to Stripe payments and payouts.

Taxes

Taxes may be calculated on both the item price and the Platform Charge.

Taxes collected from the buyer are included in the amount transferred to the seller.

The seller is responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes and for completing any required tax reports or filings.

Unless otherwise stated, Le Pit Club Marketplace does not pay or report these taxes on behalf of the seller.
